update

hey this is adam, i figured i should probably jump in at least once before i leave. here is an update on what is going on right now, i got a call just a little while ago from the church telling me that my report date has been moved to April 27th due to a glitch in the system that they were using, i am almost done with my visa application and am pretty much just trying to get ready as best i can right now. i am excited to go and i hope i get my visa in time to go straight to the Brazil MTC

Asking for fasting & prayers for Brazil visas

So it looks like there are a lot of missionaries heading for Brazil that are having problems getting their visas.  Some missionaries are even ending up in the states for 5+ months before their visas finally come through.  Please add to your prayers and fasting that all the missionaries heading to Brazil will get their visas in time to go directly there.  Thanks!

Visa and Passport Work Update

We got Adam's passport and have been working on the Visa papers.  So much work to do, it is crazy.  We are now just waiting for the notarized copies of Adam's priesthood ordinations and Seminary transcripts.  Also, we have to get a letter from the local police department stating Adam is in good standing in the community.  That was interesting, we went to the Buckley Police Department and they weren't quite sure what to do with us.  Finally, they decided their records person would be the one to handle this and then they said she was on vacation for a week.  That wasn't a very successful trip, oh well, at least almost everything else is done.
